Meet Crystal Kirles

We'd like to introduce you to Crystal Kirles!

Crystal is the wife of Jeremy Kirles, Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts at Beltway Park. They are blessed with two beautiful children; Creed who is almost five and Allegra Anne who is six months.  Crystal is also blessed to be a stay at home mom with her kids and an active support in ministry alongside her husband.

Crystal and Jeremy have been married for fifteen years and while she is happy to be a pastor's wife and serve with her husband, being a pastor's wife wasn't something that she ever saw herself
doing.  Her deep love and care for people had always motivated Crystal to pursue becoming a counselor.

While the dream of becoming a counselor did not materialize, Crystal still uses her passion for others through her spiritual gifts of hospitality, encouragement, exhortation and intercession.  She loves to open up her home, making others feel comfortable and taking care of their needs.  She is excited to speak the truth in love to others and help them see themselves the way God sees them.  Crystal also feels a strong urgency to battle in prayer for others, helping them receive victory over their circumstances.

Crystal can only use these gifts to bless others because she herself has received the freedom that Christ offers.  She walks out that freedom each day with intention by asking the Lord to distinguish between truth and lies.  She has learned to speak the truth out and bless those who hurt her.  This has equipped her to work in partnership with the Holy Spirit in each area of her life.

In the same way, Crystal has learned that when offense comes, it is important to recognize the offense
and not gloss over it.  She seeks to take each situation before the Lord, asking for His perspective, then sharing with a trusted accountability partner.  She then strives to forgive the person and get rid of the offense by blessing them so that she can move on and receive the blessing from the Lord.

Crystal has had many opportunities in her life to learn to trust the Lord.  One of the more recent faith steps that she has taken with Him was over a period of two years when she and Jeremy were wanting to expand their family with a second child.  She battled overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, but through that time, the Lord was actually pruning her, teaching her to rely on His faithfulness.  Crystal learned to trust God's timing and His goodness above all things, no matter the outcome.

Growing in the Lord has given way for Crystal's passions and interests to truly blossom.  She is passionate about her family and children, worship and music and as a native Floridian, Crystal is devoted to beautiful beaches.  Decorating and home projects, organizing, working out and outdoor adventures also make her heart come alive.  When she needs to decompress, Crystal prefers an early morning workout, baths, playtime on the trampoline or mowing the yard listening to worship music to shake off stress.

With so many wonderful gifts to share, Crystal is a blessing to Beltway Park and Beltway Women.  Look forward to hearing more from her sweet and generous heart at the Let's Get Together event on September 26th!

Meet Gaylene Templeton

Gaylene Templeton  (better known as GayGay to her 7 grandchildren) has been married to Ray (Beltway Elder) for 42 years.  They have 5 children: Amy, Misty, Ashlee, Abe, and Addison.  Their children range in age from 41 to 24, and their grandchildren range in age from 20 to in-the-womb (expected in December and March). Gaylene is passionate about being the best wife, mother, and GayGay she can be.  She was truly stretched in her faith when she was only 17, and had her first child.  "The biggest faith step would be trusting God to provide for our family and give us the wisdom to raise Godly children.  The Lord helped me through this with prayer, Bible study, and Christian fellowship." Little did Gaylene anticipate, about 4 years ago, her role as GayGay would take a frightening turn!  Her oldest grandson, Harrison (now aged 20), contracted a flu virus that attacked his heart.  "He was in the hospital for about 2 months, and it was touc...
