Meet Bobbie Turner

It's time to get to know Bobbie Turner ! Bobbie is married to Randy Turner, Pastor of Family Ministries at Beltway Park.  They have been married for 29 years and have raised a beautiful family and are now beginning to enjoy being grandparents!  Their children are Geoffrey and his wife Sarah, Sarah Elizabeth, Emily and Landon.  Their beautiful granddaughter is Berkley and she will soon be a big sister, adding another grandbaby to love! As a young girl, Bobbie never dreamed that she would be a Christian, let alone a pastor's wife.  She grew up in a non-believing family and came to know Jesus as a teenager.  However, by age fifteen, Bobbie was so committed to Jesus that she couldn't imagine marrying anyone that didn't have the same desire to be involved in ministry on some level.  It has been this journey in her life that has stirred the passions in Bobbie's heart for teens and college students.  In her day job, Bobbie works at Hardin-Simmons University with

Meet Donna Reese

Donna Reese is a sweet and beautiful woman that we at Beltway Park are blessed to have a part of our church family. She is married to Randy, Pastor of Men's Ministries and they have been married for eleven years.  Together, Donna and Randy serve in many places at the church such as the prayer team, lifegroup leading, and meeting with people one-on-one.  Donna and Randy have a blended family.  Between them, they brought six children and eventually sixteen grandchildren to the family.  Blending this new family proved to be Donna's biggest faith step to date.  It was a scary thing for Donna to consider being married again after being single for such a long time, but she knew in her spirit that God was leading her in those steps and that He had chosen Randy for her.  She knew He would bless their union so she trusted Him.  She says with a smile, "It has never been boring!" Donna always knew in some way that she would be a pastor's wife.  Her first husband was

Meet Adina Brown

We'd like to introduce you to Adina Brown , wife of 12-years to Nathanael (better known as Than, Pastor of Life Groups).  Adina and Than have 2 sons.  David is 15, and has been raised by Than, as his Father.  Conner is 9-years-old. Adina serves as part-time Grief Ministry Coordinator at Beltway.  Her passion for offering hope and healing, in Jesus, to others experiencing grief is born out of her own loss of her mom 22 years ago, followed by her first husband 15 years ago.  Adina's testimony of God's love and faithfulness has equipped her to serve others and usher them into greater depths of healing.  She describes her journey as such: 15 years ago, I was a stay-at-home wife, pregnant with our first child.  All I'd ever longed to be was a wife, mom, and homemaker, and suddenly my dreams were shattered right before me when my husband, who was struggling with depression, committed suicide.  My whole identity changed at that time, and I would no longer be a wife

Meet Gaylene Templeton

Gaylene Templeton  (better known as GayGay to her 7 grandchildren) has been married to Ray (Beltway Elder) for 42 years.  They have 5 children: Amy, Misty, Ashlee, Abe, and Addison.  Their children range in age from 41 to 24, and their grandchildren range in age from 20 to in-the-womb (expected in December and March). Gaylene is passionate about being the best wife, mother, and GayGay she can be.  She was truly stretched in her faith when she was only 17, and had her first child.  "The biggest faith step would be trusting God to provide for our family and give us the wisdom to raise Godly children.  The Lord helped me through this with prayer, Bible study, and Christian fellowship." Little did Gaylene anticipate, about 4 years ago, her role as GayGay would take a frightening turn!  Her oldest grandson, Harrison (now aged 20), contracted a flu virus that attacked his heart.  "He was in the hospital for about 2 months, and it was touch and go the whole time.

Meet Melissa Lockett

We're delighted to share with you, Melissa Lockett ! Melissa is married to Leighton, Pastor of High School Ministries at Beltway. While their first meeting during seminary orientation didn't prove to be memorable, soon after meeting they became inseparable and have now been married for seven years.  Melissa didn't aspire to be a pastor's wife, but found herself surrounded in ministry training by young men with passion and hearts for God and Leighton was no different.  She counts herself blessed to be a help meet for her husband often providing an extra set of hands behind the scenes in the high school ministry.  Melissa and Leighton are the proud parents of Alethia, 4, Trafton, 2 and Ansley who is 6 months old.  Melissa is blessed to get to stay at home with them each day nurturing their little hearts.
